Viper's Bugloss - Echium Vulgare
Viper’s Bugloss, also known as Blueweed, is commonly found on chalky grassland, cliffs, and disturbed ground. It can grow up to 80cm and flowers May to September. With hairy, spotted stems and narrow, pointy leaves the main spectacle is the dense clusters of purple blue flowers that decorate the tall stems. Very attractive to bees and other beneficial insects they are perfect for attracting pollinators into an area.
