Premium Quality Natural Feed for Wild Birds and other insect eating animals. Highly nutritious and popular with birds.
Attract a variety of different birds to your garden by offering these as a tasty snack or treat!
Particularly effective in winter as a valued calorie source to fill a feed deficit for garden birds who naturally need and eat worms as a main part of their diet.
A popular source of year-round feed for Robins, tits, starlings and other birds native to the UK. Our Premium Quality Dried Mealworms will provide all the goodness of a live mealworm (larvae of a beetle).
High in fat and protein (over 50%!) and rich in natural vitamins and minerals - 100% natural! Dried mealworms are a first class source of energy for birds.
DRIED MEALWORMS ARE ALSO GREAT FOR FISHING - They can be used as a brilliant attractant to add to your ground bait. The dried mealworms will float and sink in the water around your bait. Great at bringing fish in to feed in a baited area!
Use the drop-down to select the weight you require.
Benefits:
- Fill the hunger gap in Winter
- Also can be used year round
- Provides the protein birds need for laying feathers, feeding their young and growth
Feeding Tips:
Place on a feeder or table or even on the ground.
Offer little and often in small quantities. It may take some time for some birds to take to the snack but persevere - they will come round eventually!
Can be mixed with other bird feed for a highly nutritious and balanced snack.
It is recommended to soak your dried mealworms in warm water for around 15 minutes before putting them out. This gives birds extra hydration and makes them more appealing.
