Pre-Seed fertiliser gives the best start to all grass seed mixtures. Perfect for use before putting new turf or grass seed down to repair patches or sowing seed for a new lawn.
This fertiliser can also be used as a tonic or lawn conditioner between April and October!
This product will:
- Enable healthy grass growth for new lawns
- Create a beautiful lush green lawn
- Aid the germination process by dissolving quickly in to the turf
- Provide essential nutrients for root development and plant growth
- Encourage even growth as it is made up of small (2-4mm) granules for even distribution
- Aid root development and establish strong growing plants as it has high Phosphorous (P) content
- Work well on fairways, outfields, sports pitches and other grassed areas to be laid to grass or turf
6% Nitrogen - 9% Phosphorus - 6% Potassium
Application rate:
TIP: Will be most effective when applied approximately 3-5 days prior to seeding. This allows it to partially dissolve in the soil. It can also be applied during seed bed preparation if it is also lightly watered.
- For NEW LAWNS - apply at 50g per metre squared. E.g. 1kg will cover 20m2
TIP - Save approximately a quarter of the pack for a treatment after grass germination and establishment 6 weeks after germination
- As a CONDITIONER OR TONIC - apply at 35g per metre squared. E.g. 1kg will cover approximately 28m2
The nutrients applied per m2 at 50g/m2: 3g N-4.5g P2O5-3g K2O
